Financiero Galicia (GFG) is a financial services holding
company organized under the laws of Argentina. GFG was formed
by the members of Escasany, Braun and Ayerza families and
The Banco de Galicia Foundation, who were the controlling
shareholders of Banco Galicia.
Grupo Galicia owns 94.68% of
the outstanding shares of Banco Galicia . Total outstanding
shares of Grupo Galicia amount to 1.241,4 million shares (equivalent
to 124.1 million ADSs) composed of 281.2 million of Class
A shares and 960.2 million of Class B shares. Class A shares
have 5 votes, Class B shares have one vote. The controlling
shareholder, EBA Holding, owns the Class A shares, holding
22.7% of capital stock and 59.4% of the votes.

Grupo Galicia
Class B shares trade on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and
on the Córdoba Stock Exchange while Grupo Galicia ADSs
trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market, both under the ticker
symbol "GGAL.".
Grupo Galicia is included in
the MERVAL Index and, internationally, the Morgan Stanley Capital
International and Standard & Poor's indices also include
our shares.

The bank was founded in 1905 and is GFG's most significant asset. It is one of the largest private sector commercial banks in Argentina ranked by deposits, assets or loans. As of March 31, 2008, total deposits in Argentina amounted to Ps. 13.6 billion (8,21% market share considering private sector deposits), consolidated assets totaled Ps. 23.4 billion and loans to the private sector came at Ps. 11.2 billion (7.8% market share).

Sudamericana Holding S.A., an insurance holding company specialized
in life, retirement, home and ATMs thefts products.
Galicia Warrants S.A., a warehouse rental services and issuer
of certificate of deposits company.
Net Investment, a holding company oriented to invest in Internet
projects that can have synergies with Banco
Galicia.
Galval Agente de Valores S.A., A 100% subsidiary of Grupo
Financiero Galicia, based in Uruguay and created with
the purpose of providing custody services.
The ownership structure of the 3 firsts companies is the same:
GFG owns 87.5% and Banco Galicia
owns the remaining 12.5%.
